Bread for the World

Bread for the World is a collective Christian voice urging our nation’s decision makers to end hunger at home and abroad. Bread works in a bipartisan way. This network of thousands of individual members, churches and denominations is active in every congressional district. Because of persistent advocacy Congress passed the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 which contains numerous pro visions that will help people struggling with hunger and poverty. Again this year we will not be able to hold our usual bake sale. We are asking for your support in donating by using the enclosed envelope and mailing it to the church office. (Please make out checks to Church of the Holy Cross.) J’s mini mart will match all funds contributed. We hope to dedicate these funds on July 11th. This is one way we can help confront the problem of hunger. We can make a difference as we help our neighbors, whether they live in the next house, the next state, or the next continent. Thank you for your support.
