No In-Person Worship March 22 and 29

The Board of Deacons of Church of the Holy Cross decided today, March 15, to suspend holding in-person worship services on campus for at least two Sundays: March 22 and March 29, 2020. The Board hopes to further efforts to slow the infection rate of the corona virus through this and similar measures.
The church will produce a live worship service for video streaming over the Internet. Instructions for access will be made available at the church website and via direct email. If you need information telephoned to you, please call the church office.
“None of the options for sharing worship are ideal,” said pastor Eric Anderson. “We will miss being with one another, singing with one another, and praying with one another. For our community’s health, let us share reflection and prayer in our separate homes until we can unite in the house of God once more.”
In addition, other group activities will be canceled, including:
- Sunday morning Bible Study
- Tuesday Choir rehearsal
- Wednesday morning and evening Bible Study
- Thursday Lenten study
- Friday Bell choir
- Friday Community Sing
If you have questions about other events scheduled for the campus, please call the office or the event organizer.
