Bread for the World, April 7, 2019

Anpan Man returns to Church of the Holy Cross annual Bake Sale and Letter Writing to our Congressional Delegates on Sunday, April 7, 2019. We are asking members to donate baked goods, pickled vegetables, sushi rice, and any other types of prepared food. This event has always been well supported by the membership, so plan to bake or cook something for the sale and also come prepared to purchase the many delicious items.

Bread for the World is a collective Christian voice, urging our nation’s decision makers to end hunger at home and abroad. We provide help and opportunity far beyond the communities in which we live by changing policies and programs and conditions that allow hunger and poverty to persist. Please come prepared to sign letters to our senators and representatives in Congress to help end world hunger.

Remember the date, Sunday, April 7, 2019. Letter writing will be held before services, and the bake sale will be held after services.
