The Slipper Project
Keiki in our local schools often need a pair of slippers while at school (or rubber zori, or chori, or flip-flops, or slippahs). They break, they get lost, they disappear beneath the sand, and parents can’t always provide them. We’re collecting rubber slippers in elementary school sizes beginning next Sunday, March 26, and running through Easter Sunday, when we’ll dedicate them.
This is part of a developing effort to address the needs of homeless families and children in our community.
