Walk the Labyrinth – July 16
Learn a way to walk and pray, Wednesday July 16, 9:30 am. What is a labyrinth? It’s a pattern marked on the floor or ground that Christians have used for prayerful walking. This is an ancient way to pray that has become popular again in the 21st century. The European cathedrals built “labyrinths” in their structures during the Middle Ages so persons could walk and pray meditatively. Those who were not able to make a pilgrimage to the Holy Land could walk and pray the labyrinth instead. There is a small
labyrinth in our rock garden near Lanikaula Street.
Father Moki invites us to come to Church of the Holy Apostles Episcopal Church to walk their labyrinth. All persons are welcome to meet with us Wednesday, July 16. Please meet at Church of the Holy Cross near the lounge at 9:25 am to car pool, or meet us at The Church of the Holy Apostles, 1407 Kapiolani St. For more information please call Pastor Mary at 935-1283.
